Delete your FlippyDisc account
You can request permanent account deletion from inside the FlippyDisc app. The app records the request, signs you out, and an administrator completes the deletion manually within 30 days.
Request deletion in the app
- Open FlippyDisc and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Open Profile, then select Settings.
- Select Account management.
- Select Delete account, review the 30-day notice, and confirm both prompts.
If you cannot access the app
Email support@flippydisc.app from the address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. Include your username if you know it. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify that you control the account before acting on the request.
What happens after you request deletion
- FlippyDisc stores a pending deletion request and signs you out. Nothing is automatically deleted at that moment.
- An administrator manually reviews purchases, sales, shipping, refunds, buyer-protection claims, and payouts tied to the account.
- Support may contact the email address on the account if an open matter must be resolved first.
- The administrator manually deletes or anonymizes eligible account data within 30 days, subject to legal-retention requirements.
- Stripe may retain information under its own legal obligations and privacy notice.
Completed deletion is permanent. You cannot restore the account after an administrator finishes the deletion.
Information we may retain
We may retain anonymized or limited order, address snapshot, payment, tax, shipping, payout, refund, dispute, moderation, fraud-prevention, and audit records when reasonably necessary to complete transactions, protect users, comply with tax or financial rules, resolve disputes, prevent repeat abuse, enforce our agreements, or meet another legal obligation. These records are restricted from ordinary public use and retained under the periods and criteria in our Privacy Policy.
Information in encrypted backups may remain until the normal backup cycle overwrites it. A court order, active dispute, fraud investigation, or legal hold may require us to preserve particular records longer.
Before deleting
If possible, wait until all purchases, sales, shipping, returns, refunds, disputes, and seller payouts are complete. Deletion does not erase payment or repayment duties created before deletion and does not automatically close an unresolved matter.
